GREENHOUSE GAS INVENTORIES
Green house gas (GHGs) inventories are more commonly known as a CARBON FOOTPRINTS Our GHG inventory not only sets up the baseline for future years but also puts in place the structure for your greener, leaner business. We do this by helping you impliment best practice as well as providing you with software tools.
NET ZERO STRATEGIC GOALS
You may wish to set firmer goals going foward and choose to set a Net Zero target. Once an initial footprint is established we can help you plan the journey to reach these targets. Considerations include timescales, production methodology, financial constraints and ultimately commercial benefits. As timescales are normally for between 2030 and 2050, we can help you understand how to blend in your sustaible evolution with your ongoing commercial strategy. Depending on the scale of your businees you may want to establish Science Based Targets (SBTs) in order to obtain certification via 3rd party verification.
VALUE CHAIN STREAMLINING (SCOPE 3)
An essential part of your GHG emissions are from scope 3 emissions i.e those from your supply and value chains. As these can account for over 70% of your overall greenhouse gas emissions, it is a vital area to streamline. We can help you understand your scope 3 emissions by defining a sound methodology which balances the cost of analysis and the commercial relevance of the results. We achieve this by utilising official databases, highlighting key areas and engaging with current and future suppliers.

WHAT IS AN ENVIRONMENAL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION?
CERTIFYING YOUR PRODUCTS
An EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is a document that quantifiably demonstrates the environmental impacts of a product. These are becoming increasingly popular as your customers will want to drive down their own footprints and have the ability to compare like for like products from different suppliers for key environmental metrics. To obtain an EPD you will need to undertake a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and follow international standards such as ISO 14025 or EN15804 for the construction industry. This is then peer reviewed before being made publically available through official databases.
